This is my "I'm not impressed" look. Out of the blue, with no warning and no consultation, the slaves packed up all my things, then then cat-napped me, and dumped me in this new place. Nothing smells the same. All my hiding spots have changed. I have been ripped from all that I know. And I have been trapped inside for many days and many nights. I have no idea when the outside world will be available to me again.

This moving thing? It's not for me. I do like this huge scratching post they have supplied with me, though (they call it a sofa). I am slowly working my way around it so that every surface is decorated by my claws.

I am also making the most of their guilt, by requesting constant attention and treats. So far, it is working. Maybe moving isn't so bad. I'll let you know.

I am exhausted! I have had a very stressful weekend. Firstly, the human slaves brought home something that smells and sounds like a miniature cat, but looks like a huge mouse. They say they are "looking after it." But I'm not so sure, it looks like it's settled in here, and I. Am. Not. Happy.

As well as having to cope with that kind of disgusting behaviour from the humans, they currently are holding me hostage. They are refusing to allow me my basic cat rights of going outside. Something about the "air quality being bad for my lungs". I have ignored that and devised all sorts of cunning plans to outsmart them. For instance, hiding in a closet close to the front door, until I see my chance to escape; or howling loudly until one of them just gives in. It has all been very tiring. I yearn for the days when life was much simpler.

I am adding a photo of the mouse/cat thing so you can see what I have to put up with.

You probably don't believe that there could be another cat in the world as gorgeous as me.. and you would be right. But then, there is this beautiful, fluffy tuxie, and even I have to admit - he does look a little bit like me. He lives in New Zealand, and I suppose I should congratulate him for being as handsome as me - I mean, for winning our competition, which was to find my doppelganger. Introducing my new furriend, Mr Schnupps:
